We all know what a trademark is—a symbol, word, phrase, or design that distinguishes a product or service from imitation brands and indicates that it is authentic and originates from a particular source. So, what then is the “trademark” of a true Christian? By asking this question, we are seeking to identify the unique qualities that set apart genuine followers of Jesus from other distorted or diluted versions of Christianity. And this question is relevant for both those investigating Christ and those who are already devoted to him, as it helps bring acute clarity to what a life lived in full discipleship to Jesus truly means.
