There are just some things you shouldn’t do alone. Life is one of those things. In the highs and the lows that get thrown at us, it becomes clear that to live life well, we need each other. 

The Bible talks a lot about doing life with God and with other people. When we share our lives with others, we are more able to follow Jesus even when things are hard. Jesus even taught that when we are committed to each other, that’s when our faith is truly on display. 

In our series, There Are Just Some Things You Shouldn’t Do Alone, we’ll look at what the Bible says about living life with one another. We’ll learn about God’s heart to know us and see the amazing things that can happen when we love one another.

There are certain things in life that just take investment and long term commitment. The only way to stay in shape is to work out regularly. If you want to learn advanced mathematics, you have to go school. Learning to play music with excellence only happens with a lot of practice over the course of time.

In much the same way, a vibrant, growing relationship with God only happens through regular, intentional interaction with Him. If we want to grow spiritually, impact our community and love the people around us, while understanding more and more about who God is, it is going to take time and effort. But that isn’t anything new. That’s true of anything that is worth doing.
