Don’t Quit: Finding Strength When You Feel Weak | The Battle I Can’t See

What do you do when the battle keeps going and your strength starts running out?

In Week 4 of The Battle I Can’t See, we look at the unseen battle of endurance — the fight to keep standing, keep trusting, and keep following Jesus when life gets difficult. The reality is that endurance is not built by relying on our own strength. It comes from a deep dependence on Christ. In our weakness, His power is made perfect.

Through 2 Corinthians 12 and 2 Timothy 2, we discover how to endure by:

• Remembering the grace we have received through Jesus

• Staying focused on pleasing Christ

• Remembering Jesus and the hope of the resurrection

• Trusting that God remains faithful even when we feel weak

The goal of the Christian life is not simply to start well — it is to stand firm until the end. If you feel tired, discouraged, or like you’re running out of strength, this message is a reminder: you don’t endure because you are strong enough. You endure because Christ is faithful.

Breaking Strongholds: The Battle I Can’t See | Grace Church Akron East

The battle is real, but many of the battles we face happen in places we cannot see. In this message from The Battle I Can’t See series, we look at the spiritual strongholds that can shape the way we think, live, and view God.

In 2 Corinthians 10:3-5, Paul reminds us that our weapons are not worldly weapons — they have the power to demolish strongholds. A stronghold is a carefully constructed lie that, when believed, traps us and keeps us from experiencing the freedom found in God’s truth. From “I don’t need anyone” to “My value comes from what I accomplish” to “I’ve done too much damage,” we all face lies that fight against what God says is true.

The way forward is to run toward truth:

– Name the lies we have believed

– Confess what is true

– Take every thought captive and make it obedient to Christ

Because Jesus doesn’t just expose the lies — He brings freedom.

Scripture: 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 John 8:31-32 John 8:44

How to Stand Strong in the Battle You Can’t See | The Armor of God

Life is full of battles we can see—but what about the battles we can’t?

In Week 2 of our series, “The Battles I Can’t See”, we explore Ephesians 6:13-17 and discover how God has equipped believers to stand firm in the middle of spiritual warfare. The enemy attacks through lies, fear, doubt, discouragement, temptation, and confusion, but God has already provided everything we need to remain faithful and stand strong. In this message, you’ll learn:

• Why spiritual battles are real and unavoidable

• The purpose of each piece of the Armor of God

• How truth defeats deception

• Why your identity is rooted in Christ’s righteousness

• How the peace of Jesus steadies us in difficult seasons

• What faith does when fear and doubt attack

• Why protecting your mind matters in spiritual warfare

• How to use God’s Word as the Sword of the Spirit

The Armor of God is more than a list of spiritual tools. Every piece points us to Jesus. He is our truth, our righteousness, our peace, our salvation, and our strength. When the enemy whispers, “You’re not enough,” Jesus says, “My grace is sufficient.” The battle is real. The attacks will come. But God has already provided everything we need to stand firm.
