11/26/17 So This is Christmas – Christmas Mission

String the lights, deck the halls, bring on the snow (at least for Christmas Day). The fun of the holiday season also brings the things we want most to the forefront. And we want simple things: for our relationships to work, things to go our way, everyone to get along – in a word, happiness. But as we all know, our interactions with each other during the holidays don’t always turn out the way we envision them. So This Is Christmas is a series offering a practical perspective on inviting Jesus into every moment of our Christmas season. See how his presence can change us and the dynamics of the situations we find ourselves in.

11/26/17 – All Out All In: Time

Medina East Campus | Dan Miller | Week 4 | November 25-26, 2017

Whether it’s a religion, a sports team, your family, or the checkbook … we all worship something in life. The problem is, we don’t always realize what it is we worship, or that it might be the wrong thing to worship altogether. All Out All In will help us test different aspects of our lives to discover what we worship, figure out what God’s best is, and know how we can realign ourselves to be All Out AND All In.

11/26/17 – Joy To The World – Let Every Heart Prepare Him Room:

Have you ever known people who are joyful? They have a hope for life that’s unshakable, regardless of circumstances. They stand out to us because they refuse to give up on things that really matter.

Joy like that changes our world, and it also changes us. We want to be around it. We want lives that see the bigger picture. So can we all have joy like that? If it doesn’t depend on circumstances or personality, can I experience joy too?

When Jesus came at Christmas, he brought joy for everyone. During this season, we’re looking at how Jesus can bring joy into our lives and joy to the world.

11/19/17 Love Differently – How to Love

Loving God means loving people. God works in our lives to prepare us to impact our world by giving our lives away. When it comes to love, nothing is quite as intriguing as the motivation and style of love derived from God. Jesus showed us this radical and life-saving love through giving His own life away. As we recognize that Jesus’ radical love is directed toward us, it changes our outlook, lifestyle, and even who we love. We begin to love differently.

11/19/17 – All Out All In: Abilities & Talents

Medina East Campus | Week 3 | Seth Toncar | November 18-19, 2017

Whether it’s a religion, a sports team, your family, or the checkbook … we all worship something in life. The problem is, we don’t always realize what it is we worship, or that it might be the wrong thing to worship altogether. All Out All In will help us test different aspects of our lives to discover what we worship, figure out what God’s best is, and know how we can realign ourselves to be All Out AND All In.

11/19/17 – Homeland – The Opportunity Of Hospitality

Where is home for you? Is it the place where you lay your head at night? Is it where you’re most relaxed? Maybe it’s when you’re with certain people? Is it somewhere you long for or a place you wish you could return to?

Moving, displacement and immigration are terms we use to describe people leaving a familiar place and trying to call a strange, new place “home.” Differences in food, schools, language, and relationships provide us with new, everyday life challenges as our environment changes.

People immigrating to new areas is nothing new to human history. It makes culture dynamic and the world around us ever changing. We are going to take 3 Sundays to explore what this means to our lives, the church, the gospel, and our growing global community.
